The Caring Clothes Closet couldn't thank you enough for the donations, volunteer hours, and love given throughout the Christmas Season.

Thank you to all the individuals and groups who helped the CCC for Christmas 2017.  We could not have done it with out you!   With your help the CCC was able to:

  • Host a Christmas party and provide coats for residential foster children at United Methodist Family Services

  • Host a Christmas party and provide coats for children in the STEP program at Gilpin Court

  • Help with clothing and goodies for a Christmas party for Sophie House.

  • Provide 339 Christmas bags containing hats, gloves, necessities and festive items to foster and at-risk children in the Richmond area.

  • Work with 6 corporate/adult groups and with 11 kids groups along with many individuals and many Hands On Greater Richmond volunteers to spread Christmas cheer.

Some of the groups that helped us are:

Mindful Mornings, Capital One, Snag-a-Job, Chippenham Johnston Willis Hospital, Hunton & Williams Law Firm, Girl Scout Troops #5300, #5437, #5366, #5355, #4214, Kachele Elementary Community Service Group, Fun With Service Community Service Group in Foxhall,  St. Paul’s Baptist Church Teen Group, Youth Group and Elementary Sunday School students at Shady Grove United Methodist Church and all the individuals and group volunteers that participated in the CCC Hands On Greater Richmond projects.

Also, a special thank you to the members of Shady Grove United Methodist Church who supported the CCC through the Giving Tree.   You are the best and as always we greatly appreciate your support!
